Last year Voxy and Elantra were among the vehicles that were mostly cleared at the port. But when you check the engine capacity of the Voxy’s most 1.8 and just some few are 2.0 (the earlier models)
The duty was kinda low at start to the mid last year but it started going up later last year maybe due to influx in importation.
Even though it can go on a long journey, it’s not advisable.
It’s a family vehicle, and I don’t think it is advisable for commercial use and even if you tend to use it for commercial transportation, you should take safety precautions.
the car is now everywhere in Ghana, from Accra to Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast,Ho, Hohoe, Tamale,Wa,Nkawkaw,Koforidua,Swedru etc.
